What started out as another sad tale of someone falling in love with a car, only to purchase it and find out all wasn’t as it seemed. With an allegedly ‘new’ stroker burning more oil than petrol it was dropped to us for further investigation…we were greeted by damaged bores and pistons and an engine combo that could never make the advertised power. As per the pictures, you’ll see it was anything but ‘new’….

We started with a re-sleeve and building a 383 that would exceed the power goals her owner was looking for. We added Sniper EFi, ICE EFi Ignition Control System, new custom fuel system, custom 3″ exhaust and a new, shortened 9″ rear and custom 4″ tail-shaft rounded the package off with a well respectable 468HP at the treads.
